Cheese of the Week: Beemster Classic

Looking for a premium dutch gouda? Beemster Classic (aged for 18-months) is considered the classic Dutch cheese throughout Holland and is one of the top five cheeses among our staff. Classic Beemster is a robust, firm gouda that is made exclusively with milk from Beemster cows. This nutty and butter-rich cheese pairs well with smoked almonds, dates or fig spreads. Thinking of pairing a drink with this cheese? We’d suggest hoppy, bitter craft beers and Malbec or a full-bodied white wine.
